I didn't think it could be done, but there's a rap video about Zork, the old Infocom game from the early 80's.

It's called "It is pitch dark" (and you are likely to be eaten by a grue).

If that expression means something to you, you'll enjoy this.. if not, it will just be weird nonsense to you; I guess you had to grow up with Infocom games.

Actually, I've got a working C 64 emulator I've been meaning to upload....

I've got about 5 games for it also, and I'm sure there are more out there....

Infocom released every text adventure they made in collections like "comedy, mystery, adventure" and so on, each one had 1 of the zorks in it along with the other adventure games in the genre.

Check out the Interactive Fiction Archive, it seems the copyrights on most of the games have expired and are free for download.  There are more games there than you'd EVER be able to complete.

Of all the infocom games, Spellbreaker and Enchanter were my real favorites... but everyone remembers Zork.  I played the Hitchhiker's Guide by Infocom too... it was even crazier than the books.
