We have emulators now!
We've added three new emulators to our site and we hope that you enjoy them. They include DOS-Box (the best DOS emulator I've ever seen!) plus a Commodore64 emulator and a Super Nintendo emulator. We also have a few games for each and plan to add more as we get them..
Super Nintendo Entertainment System
This .rar file includes an excellent SNES emulator with over 70 popular games, including original SNES classics like "The Legend of Zelda" and "Mortal Kombat". Download the .rar file and then unpack the archive with WinRAR. You'll see the emulator and a folder full of games. You don't need to unpack the game files, the emulator will do that when you select the game from the File menu in the emulator. It's normal for the emulator to make some extra folders for game save data, so don't be alarmed at that, it's clean and free of all viruses.
Commodore64 Emulator
This .rar file includes one of the only virus-free Commodore64 emulators that we have been able to find. Right now we don't have any games ready for release, as we check them carefully for viruses prior to postiing them, but we are expecting to offer several of the older Ultima games and The Magic Candle soon. Download the emulator and unpack the archive with WinRAR. Look for a file called CCS and run it - it's really just that simple.
DOSBox Version 0.72
I was just going to point everyone to the official DOSBox website, but for some reason it was offline when I checked so I'll host the their great DOS emulators here until I see them back online. They have emulators for DOS on Windows (i386), Mac, and Linux (as a tarball). Enjoy them, and let's hope the guys at DOSbox.com get their site back up soon!
